About Hispanic Insurance & Risk Management Association
In 2013, The Hispanic Insurance & Risk Management Association (HIRMA) began as an idea by Dr. Carlos Rodriguez to unite Hispanics and other cultural professionals in the Insurance and Risk industries to come together in one space to connect, collaborate and network amongst each other. Over time, the organization has grown tremendously to include a diverse group of professionals, colleagues, and ultimately friends – not only in the Insurance and Risk industries but also in many others, including Human Resources, Safety, Claims, and Workers’ Compensation. HIRMA has always striven to connect groups and individuals together who possibly would not have done so on their own. Its educational and networking events have provided many the opportunity to build their network, their trusted circle of professionals, and ultimately maintain long-lasting relationships that have transcended beyond the workplace.
To date, HIRMA has hosted and participated in countless events, even partnering with other organizations who share the same vision and passion of improving diversity, awareness, and relationships. We are truly appreciative of everyone who has joined us during numerous memorable moments and experiences, all to help us create a safe space to connect and build an incredible community of professionals.
