After 30 years in the industry I decided to strike out on my own and see if I could help the Transportation, Insurance, Legal industry see the little things that they may not, for whatever reason. Originally my target audience was and still is the small motor carriers, maybe 500-1500 trucks. They typically have small staff, limited skillset and wearing lots of hats. I also believe their insurance structure is changing in today's market, where they maybe had 1 or 2 carriers, now they have multiple layers and as you know, that is sometimes hard to manage.
In reality is I've been doing a lot of different things that I did not expect. On site claim audits, file reviews, software workflow, consulting on defense counsel on litigation strategy, managing catastrophic claim files and writing content for driver training. Its been rewarding giving something back to the industry.
